I drank Kava in Pago Pago back in 1946. It was awful. On a hike across Tuituila as guests of The Chief of a remote Village we brought American Gin with uis for a gift. Our host Samoas poured the Gin into the Kava. Now we had a really good drink. Tofa. Bob Grosby
